7yWe are surprised at this feedback! We have several options for nursing mothers in the office. We will be sure to continue to discuss those options with all returning new mothers.
With respect to flexibility, we try our best to support flexible schedules. Upwards of 25% of our employees work remotely. Plus, employees across the company - not just mothers - routinely take time to tend to sick children, attend doctor's appointments, and otherwise manage their non-work lives. Our CEO is a working mother and she has made it very clear to all managers that empathy and support are essential company values.
This review is not reflective of our inclusive culture. If you're a parent interested in working at MIT TR and have concerns about these issues, please don't hesitate to raise them with the hiring manager. Additionally, feel free to ask to speak with current employees to get an accurate picture.
