Flexibility to attend family appointments

No direction or training. Find your way around. Told to ask questions only to have it used against you. Great 6 month probation meeting. No other until placed on a PIP (first time in my long career) based on an internal peer complaint. No opportunity for rebuttal. Told the process would last months. Received accolades from peers and manager....bottom line...he wanted to fire me and he did. Maybe that's the way they do it in the UK when managing employee in the states. Paid over $100 to return the equipment to an office halfway across USA (position is remote) because "it is company policy". Never ever ever in decades of working remote have I had to pay to return equipment. Bad enough to suffer loss of income....insult to injury.
