Toxic work environment - Manufacturing Technician Teknipure Employee Review

Everything else. Excessive turn over, poor management, no proper training for new hires, gossip and bad- mouthing of co-workers, sexual harassment and several OSHA violations. This company has a straightforward task - to manufacture alcohol saturated wipes for medical and engineer tech settings. For some reason, it struggles to achieve this. When I started they offered unlimited overtime and promised training. There was some training. However procedures would change at a moments notice, making very difficult for new hires to understand what was actually expected from them. Hence, the high turn over. The unlimited overtime seems attractive at first until you realize it is actually expected of you to come in on Saturdays and do work outside of your job scope - heavy lifting of boxes and other tasks unrelated to the job you sign on for. While I was here a few moments stood out to me, 1) the fire department being called in due to hazardous concentrations of alcohol in the clean room (a few times) and another 2) sexual harassment of co-workers in the small working environment. I encourage anyone who values their safety and sanity to look elsewhere.
