Pros
Great reputation in the industry; high level of knowledge withing the employee base; reasonably good benefits (for an 'old school' tech firm); RB facility is nicely located.
Cons
Very much the classic "gold old boy" management team- not in the sense of male-dominated (it's not) but rather upper management is very much a closed ranks organization. I have been associated with or employed by Teradata for17+ years, and this is a great company in a solid/stable market - but has lost its way and become very - very - far behind the BI (now Big Data) industry in terms of innovation. The company is struggling at present, with much turnover - the best technologists and thought leaders have already left - and senior leadership is thrashing about trying to figure things out.
