Pros
The work/life balance is excellent for people who have busy lives outside of work. Most people are welcoming, friendly, and happy to help if you need assistance. I like the optimism that the company embodies about the future and where technology will take Teradyne. Many people have been here for a long time, which speaks to the culture and health of the company.
Cons
The shutdown during the holidays doesn't leave many vacation days for people, especially those who have been here only a few years. Compensation is good, but raises are minimal. There aren't many training opportunities for employees to improve their skills and develop. As great as it is that people stay at TER, it means we have an older population and creativity becomes stifled when you don't have diversity of thought.
