Pros
During my time, at least: - Great work/life balance, the company even encouraged every Tetrand to take some time-offs - A lot of areas that can be learned, such as reading .proto files, updating Envoy/Docker configurations, and playing with Kubernetes, which aren't normally used by a frontend engineer - Great salary - Great tools to improve productivity (e.g. work laptop with high specification) - Very supportive of employees to improve themselves, e.g. joining conferences (which sadly didn't happen for me because of COVID) - "No titles" convention which reduces the "seniority" between employees
Cons
During my time, at least: - The company was very kind to a fault, sometimes problems regarding human resources weren't taken seriously until I wanted to resign - Workloads sometimes were too focused on few people and not spread across the entire team, causing them to be a somewhat "single point of failure" - One of the drawbacks of the "no titles" convention: there was no clear career ladder path and bigger objective to achieve. Employees needed to discover it themselves.
