Pros
The hiring manager seemed genuinely interested in the work and professional during interviews. The role itself had potential, which makes the experience that followed even more disappointing.
Cons
This was by far the most disorganised and unethical hiring process I’ve encountered. After issuing a formal offer and start date, HR repeatedly contradicted themselves and asked for the same documentation multiple times including items I had already provided directly from the Home Office and immigration lawyers. When they were unsure how to proceed, rather than being transparent or seeking clarification, they chose silence. Calls went unanswered, emails ignored, and information was withheld. They eventually rescinded the offer over the phone without a single written explanation, weeks after confirming that all requirements had been met. It became clear that the HR and onboarding team either lacked understanding of their own compliance process or simply didn’t care to act with honesty. Their behaviour showed zero ownership, zero transparency, and zero accountability. This is not how any reputable organisation should treat candidates especially after making a formal offer.
