Pros
- caring and understanding line management - always felt respected at a line management level and was always given allowances when needed
- generous holiday allowance
- lots of problems to solve so was a good place to learn and find creative solutions
- opportunities for career progression and promoting from within were great
- lots of talented and passionate people working there
- cycle to work scheme
Cons
- continually takes advantage of employees good will to fill in management issues which led to pretty widespread loss of passion/ motivation, and bitterness
- financially doesn't make sense as a business, riding on investor funding
- poor senior leadership in terms of communication, company direction, transparency, responsibility to employees, responsibility to customers, decision making
- some slightly toxic interdepartmental relations
- no tangible pay scale or bonuses, pay increases were few and far between, even with promotions and good performance
- management often felt quite two faced where you'd only receive positive feedback but only have negative outcomes
- quite disorganised in that half the year would be spent doing nothing and half would be chaotic
