Pros
The best reason to work here is the camaraderie, It's not like anything you would experience in civilian street. Another great reason would be the diversity of the job, one day you may be soldering a cable, the next you could be firing your rifle down a range or something else.
Cons
The way hierarchy think it's acceptable to speak to you like you're a piece of dog excrement or to basically bully you into doing what they want you to. There is no democracy within the British Army that's for sure
