Pros

*The teacher development program was well designed, but lacking in its implementation for more advanced teachers. *Nice teaching conditions off-site with b2b clients *Good diversity of teaching opportunities--lots of opportunity to teach more specialized classes

Cons

*Centers were not well maintained *Quote chaotic and unpredictable at the corporate level *Quite cliquey with a tendency to promote based on social connections rather than ability.

Pros

The organization provides robust professional development that genuinely enables instructors to refine and elevate their pedagogical skills. Training modules are structured and practical, making it feasible for teachers to adopt new methodologies and advance their instructional capabilities. Compensation is adequate and notably more competitive than what EF typically offers.

Cons

Cons* Management culture presents significant challenges. Feedback from teaching staff is frequently dismissed or ignored, fostering an environment where concerns go unaddressed. Interactions with several managers were characterized by aloofness, passive-aggressive behavior, and at times, overt bullying. This included gaslighting, deliberate silent treatment, and what appeared to be coordinated smear tactics that undermined staff morale and professional standing. There is also a clear imbalance in workload distribution. As a full-time instructor, I was routinely assigned in-house classes that part-time staff declined due to their remote locations and inconvenient schedules. These assignments were made without consultation, effectively making full-timers the default option for the least desirable classes. This practice undermines fairness and signals a disregard for the operational burden placed on full-time staff.

Pros

They often provide basic training that really helps someone who has good English skill but never learned to teach English before. The teachers were helpful (at least at my center).

Cons

Nothing more than just a place to teach English, but I think that really depends in which center you're working at.
