Pros
* Only two office days per week gives some breathing room. * There are genuinely decent people on the wider team doing their best - often despite leadership, not because of it.
Cons
* The company hides behind a “vegan” and “ethical” label, but these are just marketing buzzwords. Internally, there’s no alignment with those values. Ethical treatment of staff is not a priority. * Favouritism is rampant. Who you know matters more than what you do. Some people get a green pass, even after serious misconduct, while others get punished for doing the right thing or setting boundaries. * Leadership communication is vague, contradictory, and full of empty promises. There’s a lot of talk and very little action. If it’s not in writing, don’t count on it (especially when it comes to money). There's a high turnover of staff and people disappear for no apparent reason. * Pay is below market, and they’ll do whatever they can to avoid giving raises or bonuses, even when they’ve already been promised. * Some of the senior people are obsessed with AI. People are viewed as replaceable. Most company-wide emails now feel like they were written by ChatGPT. Spoiler alert: they probably were.
