Pros

-Relatively flexible, hours generally can be made up if needed -Permanently Remote Position -Decent starting pay, they will pay you more depending on years of experience -Monthly Bonus Incentives for meeting quotas -Overtime available, but sometimes required -Holidays off, plus you get 144 hours of PTO

Cons

-Micromanagement. Your computer activity is tracked down to the number of clicks and even stepping away for 5 minutes can put you into “inactive” or “idle” time, having too much idle time can lead to a write-up. -Poor training, expect to be thrown into a role and expected to perform well after only a week or two of training. Training documents don’t even exist for some job tasks and they expect you to figure it out on your own. -If you have technical issues beyond your control that cause you to be unable to work, expect to be told you have to make up your hours or you can drive a long commute to a Workspace office.

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
