Pros

Small company where you can easily meet everyone that works there. Easy to talk to Senior Management. Quick responses from Human Resources. Banks have set hours, but the management is very amenable to working needs and time off. Many sponsored services and activities offered outside of work to the employees from the company.

Cons

Pay increases are minimal. Very little opportunity to advance unless you are employed here for many years. Changes and suggestions are very slow to happen. Shadowing opportunities are hard to come by. Very little accountability from upper management to follow government guidelines (aka - Do as I say, not as I do)

Pros

Small local bank with dedication to local economy, owned by employees, customers, and local individuals rather than just an elite few, benefits are decent

Cons

Management isn't evaluated by feedback from their direct reports, culture disconnect from stated ideals and actual practice in branches, pay is mediocre for tellers/operations/non-officers, opportunities to advance can feel very limited

Pros

Pay was good, work load was not. Value added benefits like insurance, child care reimbursement, and PTO buy and sell back.

Cons

Run as fast as you can from this employer. Zero culture, doesn't care to have a culture. Profits are all that matter to board and executives. Record profits at the expense of their employees. Doesn't value ethical employees, only values high producers even when they put the company at risk and have complaints of unethical practices.
