Pros
The company has a "franchise" attitude towards the business- this can be good, because it gives you the opportunity to be creative. Manager in CL department sincerely cares about his staff, and is very supportive of their decision making and for balancing work/ life issues.
Cons
Systems are horrible and make it difficult to complete even the most simple task. Service issues run rampant, and underwriters typically take the brunt of anything that goes wrong. Very difficult to see a career path due to small company size. Be prepared to stay in your position for a long time.
