Accounting/finance department has great leadership and mentors. I love that I get to work through different projects and that my manager encourages us to continue to learn multiple systems to optimize fulfillment in the position and efficiency. Another great factor is that we get to vocalize our thoughts and ideas and more than that contribute both collaboratively and/or independently. It really is up to the individual to reach and go as far as they’d like to in their role. The support is there and not only in the accounting/finances but across all departments.

Let me first start with saying all places have cons. With that said, the downside is remote work delays supporting documents for departments to transact (THK is a manufacturer). It’s improved, however, there are different situations that arise (inclusive of covid related struggles) that present new processes to implement that could be time consuming. I do see the effort THK actively makes to minimize this.

Generous PTO and volunteer days

This is not a company where you are rewarded for long-term employment. Employees who have been there a long time are unfortunately paid way less than new hires. Glad I got out of there when I did because it appears the culture has also come crumbling down. Overall, I don't think the PTO is worth it, especially given profitability is seemingly unlikely for this trainwreck.
