Pros

They give lunch and breakfast once a week

Cons

They don't care about you, they will tell you whatever you want to hear in the interview. Once you get started the cracks start to show how dysfunctional the company is. They have lost more than two thirds of their staff this past year, Any place that losses people that fast is a red flag alone. Please if you're trying to get started in IT avoid this place at all cost.

I'm very sorry that you feel this way. As the founder of The Isidore Group, I set out wanting to build a company for which I wanted to work. The Isidore Group offers its coworkers not just benefits like Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance . We pay up to 80% of the coworker's costs for his or her insurance and 50% of the costs to insure the coworker's family, based on which plan, of the variety we offer, the coworker selects. We also offer 401(k) with up to a 4% matching, Vacation time that begins accruing on day 1, sick time, catered breakfast and lunch once a week, and kitchen stocked with healthy snacks and drinks--yogurt, fresh fruit, Starbucks Coffee, gourmet teas, Oberwise milk, organic oatmeal, and more. Additionally, we help our coworkers advance their careers by providing free training material for IT Certifications and paying for the certification tests. Our technicians enjoy a state-of-the-art work environment with an electronic sit-stand desk, ergonomic workspaces with multiple monitors and mechanical keyboards, their choice of comfortable headsets, and more. Lastly, we routinely take our coworkers out of the office for fun teambuilding events. Just last week everyone was invited to a night out at Wrigley, the third whole-company event this year. Turnover is unfortunate. It's endemic to our industry, but we strive to make good hiring decisions and to create a work environment that is conducive to personal growth and a work-life balance. Thank you for your input. Sincerely, Sebastian Abbinanti

Pros

Isidore is a hard-working tight knit group of people that makes you feel welcome and part of the family from day 1. They are always encouraging and financing continued education, to make employees more valuable in both personal and professional endeavors. If you work here, you will never go hungry, as breakfast and lunch are provided on multiple days, and the kitchen is always stocked with snacks and beverages. Potluck lunches are encouraged once a month, and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish and participate--and then enjoy co-workers cooking. After work activities are planned often as well, as a reward for hard work and commitment to the company. Pay is fair, and benefits are outstanding. Management is very sympathetic with employees, and works around scheduling conflicts. The company is growing as well, and it is kind of cool to get in on the ground floor of a growing company.

Cons

You are expected to bring your A-game and work hard! If that's not for you, you will not enjoy working here. These expectations are made clear at the outset. Working in the warehouse in the winter or summer can be challenging due to temperature issues.

Thank you for your review! I think we may have just addressed the temperature issue with our landlord.
