Bartenders are responsible for everything. No bar backs, security or management. Management showed unprofessionalism by displaying a lack of effort to communicate deadlines for documents in person or at a reasonable notice.

It was a great learning experience on managing people and on things like inventory, liabilities, interviewing and more

The owner often contradicted himself leaving me unsure as to what was expected from me and was not interested in any discussions, only lectures which again would contradict themselves resulting in a lack of direction. Furthermore, the owner would question employee’s characters and make things personal that didn’t need to be. Anyone who expressed any opinion or proposed an idea to help the bar was viewed as undermining authority rather than their true intentions of loyally trying to improve the business they worked for
