Compensation was not the best

I have been with the company for a few years now and have really enjoyed it. It is a great place to work if you come in and do just that, work. The company has wonderful benefits that include a very generous time off program along with great health care and education assistance. I really appreciate their concern for the community and desire to give back as well. The company has proven that succession within the company is always sought and if you are a hard worker you can succeed. At the end of the day, you can mostly leave this job at the door and it doesn't have to come home with you, which can be a difficult quality in a profession to find. Like most careers, there are deadlines, expectations, and goals which can be stressful, but I find they are generally not unrealistic.

Very rarely does the company close for weather. It can be difficult to make the decision to call out for it as it puts a lot of pressure on those who don't. Wish the company would make the executive decision to close more frequently and faster for inclement weather.
