Pros
I am trying to be objective about this, and literally can not think of one pro. It's shameful. Remote work, but that was even recently dropped. Developing partnerships with other companies/clients, basically networking adds some value if you are in a sales position.
Cons
- Expectations communicated by management for sales opportunities, commission structure, potential income, and career advancement were not only unclear but intentionally deceitful - ZERO support from leadership/management - Overall sales department was lacking in strategy/leadership on every level - Leadership/Management at any point was not willing to accept feedback or entertain any ideas, unless they were pirated secretly from a direct report and implemented without any credit given to actual individual - basically, intellectual property was stolen, when needed, without any acknowledgement to the actual individual - No path for advancement; only embellishments - Zero loyalty from leadership - Leadership/Management lacked integrity and professionalism - Monthly Goals/Quotas were created arbitrarily and without careful consideration or thoughtfulness and therefore were not attainable - Due to the lack of the sales team leaderships' general competency overall, perpetuates limitations on capacity to be successful in their industry - which ultimately projects an extremely low probability this company will achieve/sustain success or grow at any rate - Once again, my primary goal here was NOT to 'stigmatize' the companies image but to remain objective, provide as much truth as possible, to paint a vivid picture for the next candidate who considers working at the Office Express/Foodja, but unfortunately that picture is bleak, so move on to an organization who will value you, not just as an employee but more so as a human
