Pros
1) Very kind learners, volunteers, and staff who are extremely supportive.
2) Appreciation of physical and mental health, a real emphasis on wellbeing and understanding that supporting health and wellbeing allows people to be at their best.
3) Forward-thinking, progressive, inclusive, and creative environment.
4) No feeling of hierarchy - all staff are valuable and a strong emphasis on working together is encouraged.
5) Having a real impact on external stakeholders to influence change in society around attitudes towards disabled people.
Cons
The only con is that more people don't know about us. This comes with being a charity located in Godstone but we are making huge strides in getting our name out there. The work that goes on here is amazing.
