Pros

Nothing Good to say... I was victim of covert racist practices by management of Malvern Institute throughout my tenure... I was micro-managed, criticized and chastised by my superiors despite my great work... I was summoned to office of the Director on 9/23/15 and abruptly fired without cause, warning, or progressive discipline... I am currently in process of contacting Lawyers and filing of EEOC Complaint.

Pros

It is a company that provides regular training programs to its staff including a well coordinated service.

Cons

Well, I found the company unique, except that I was not afforded the benefit of a full time and prominent employee for the time served.

Pros

This company is no different than many other private non-profit companies that offer community mental and behavioral health services. A person would have the opportunity to work with a variety of ages (including both children and adults), work people coping with a variety of mental health problems and mental illness, and work with both individuals and families. This company can give anyone who is interesed in working with people and helping others the opportunity to do this. Since many of the positions are fee-for-services, it is best for those those looking to add extra income and need flexibility in their schedule.

Cons

Opportunities for personal and professional growth are unavailable. Since the company is eliminating salaried clinical positions, there is little to no opportunity get a job that would offer a stable income and benefits. Most of the clinical positions are paid on fee-for-service basis this makes income unstable when consumers are unavailable for sessions or simply do not attend (which occurs on a regualr basis). These positions would then not offer any benefits, including health insurance. For those with benefits, paid-time-off can be used, but missed clinical hours are expected to be made-up the following week which means working your regular hours to maintain needed productivity and trying to make-up PTO.
