Great collective technical ability for the scale of the operation keeps them competitive with larger firms. Relatively transparent senior management and flat organization helps employees understand health and direction of the business. Excellent - but waning - reputation in the region.
Cons
Pervasive risk aversion (more operations related than engineering related) hampers productivity, responsiveness, ability to take advantage of opportunity and plays into general fear of growth. Noticeable lack of investment in facilities and infrastructure may be a hurdle to attracting/retaining talent.
