Pros
You get a lunch stipend. That's it.
Cons
Off the bat, the work is the same day in and day out. I listen to podcasts to pass the time but it doesn't help much. You are expected to reach a quota every day. At first it seemed achievable, but they've raised it so high up that I can no longer reach the quota anymore, even on a good day. They've raised it twice and I have worked here less than a year. And you will not be paid more to do more. Management is horrendous. Information is constantly changing. If you have any complaints don't expect them to resolved. I've been talked down upon as if I'm stupid, even in a case when they were giving me incorrect information and I was trying to politely correct them. Overtime all the time. Expect to be told you need to do mandatory overtime the week of. Expect to do overtime way more often than you think. Expect paid holidays to be taken away from you less than a week beforehand. All of these stresses has caused me to fall into a depression that has effected me in and out of the workplace. I used to be excited for life and now all I do is dread, or sometimes have panic attacks, over the next time I have to work. Oh and yes, I've tried therapy. The company offers free sessions! ....but only 6 free sessions. The rest I cannot afford on the pay I'm given. Thank you The RealReal on the damage you have caused on my psyche.
