My store in particular went through multiple managers, either fired or quit before they could lose their job. As a TL expect yourself to act more like a manager than the managers themselves. A lot of managers untrained, doing the wrong things. They constantly change your shifts. My manager had tried multiple times to put staff on every single day for weeks. Left us withour extra help when the store was extremely busy.
