Pros

Working from home from time to time

Cons

Some people are actually not working. All they do is talk and invite their personal parties where everyone fakes. I had a micromanaging manager. She would call and email me nonstop to do her work. A very few people who actually care and have passion stay overnight to keep up the work for others. Lastly, factory controls everything and authority flows like this Macys > factory > leadership.

Pros

Flexibility and excellent work-life-balance. People are humans first and while everyone are hard-workers, it is always ok to put your personal life first. Also, lean team allows for things to move quickly.

Cons

Lean time leads to a high workload and many things we could/should be doing are left off because of people's bandwith.

Pros

The Sak has some good things going for it in that you can work from home, it’s flexible, benefits are good and people are kind. It has a family-like atmosphere which has recently become increasingly toxic for a number of reasons.

Cons

Do not expect your expertise or professional opinion to be heard or valued. At this point you are simply there to carry out the whims of leadership, no matter how much they go against best practices or Business logic. Extremely frustrating and teams are always working urgently to put out fires and make up for delayed product and shortcomings with no time to properly plan and strategize. Company strategy changes month to month. When something fails, it is your fault, when something sticks, you do not get credit.
