Pros
- great place to develop your career (as in stepping stone), but even more-so develop yourself as a person - looks amazing on a resume and makes you a much more well-rounded interviewee - learned from and worked with truly one of a kind people and developed lifelong friendships - extremely unique, intelligent and fun clients - great and real relationships with clients - product has changed the lives of many people - good time off (it's not actually 6 weeks by the way, but still more than the average company) - unlimited free pop lol
Cons
In terms of GENERAL cons: - little career progression - once you have been "labelled" in a certain "category" (aka Kolbe Test) it is very difficult to move outside of it - no transparency from leadership - leadership kept in the dark about things that are happening on a daily basis - managements SOLE purpose is to keep them happy even if everything is an absolute dumpster fire - "ignorance is bliss" is basically their motto - many inflated egos, of which the employees have to continually inflate - the whole company seems to be stuck in a wormhole where it's always 1990 - in terms of culture, do not expect anything progressive such as remote working - Jim Jones-esque environment - warning: do not drink the kool-aid! In terms of SALES specific cons: - terrible leads and nowhere near enough to split up between the team - the commissions advertised in job postings are NOT accurate - only about 25% of sales reps actually hit target due to the EXTREMELY unrealistic and unattainable goals that are set - VERY little resources and support to help sales reps in attaining those goals HONESTLY, I could go on but I'm going to cut it there. None of this is an exaggeration for effect - I have never written a review in my life, but am doing so in hopes of saving any potential Sales Rep who thinks Strategic Coach would be a great company to invest their time and talent in.
