Pros

Technical and in-depth work on important public policy and legal issues. Great to work on behalf of the public interest, to protect consumers and to feel good about your contributions. Lots of flexibility with respect to working from home and plenty of support for work and life goals from top management. Very good vacation and health benefits.

Cons

Work can be overwhelming during certain periods and consume portions of weekends and vacations. Attorneys have to do their own administrative work.
