Pros
This is a great place to start if you're looking to learn the basics of working in a business environment. You get experience with CRM systems and pick up on a lot of everyday business communication and terminology pretty quickly. One of my favorite parts of the job is the exposure to different business owners within the space. By interacting with them on the daily, it gives you real-world insight that you wouldn’t typically get in most entry-level roles. Management is accessible and present, which makes a noticeable difference compared to more corporate environments. PTO offering is more generous than what you usually see at this level.
Cons
Because it’s a smaller company, there are naturally fewer opportunities for upward mobility unless you’re specifically interested in growing into a sales or operations role. For some positions, the day-to-day responsibilities can feel a little repetitive and limited over time if you're looking for a long-term career path with multiple advancement options.
