Pros
- Highly values families and makes it a priority to offer flexibility when needed. - Grown in diversity and made significant effort to continue that work. - Pay is comparable to corporate and other similar non-profits - Leaders who are passionate and value creativity - Generous organization that values people and mental health. Goes above and beyond to meet those needs when employees or family of employees need help.
Cons
- Not always enough accountability for all employees. When some take advantage of the flexibility and generosity the work piles up for those who are most responsible. Leadership allows employees to stick around for years who haven’t been responsible and cause negativity. - Although improving, staff culture and HR practices and efforts are unorganized and still limited - Leadership can become a bottle neck to projects or step in last minute and redo work
