Pros
I have been with Therapy 2000 for almost a year since they acquired my previous home health employer which was a smaller family owned company. I was somewhat worried about the large company atmosphere but have found that T2K truly has the same family and employee values of my previous company. I am just a member of a larger family now. Our home office staff is amazing and helpful. Questions and concerns are responded to promptly. Therapist assist each other and vary in length of service from new grads to 20 years of service. T2K's core values are demonstrated throughout the organization both in the office and in patient homes. Therapist are encouraged to grow and develop skills with continuing ed provided in house and via webinars. Outside CE's are encouraged as well. A variety of positions for ST, OT, and PT are available across the DFW Metroplex, and other areas of Texas, ranging from FT, PT, and PRN. Coverage areas are typically small and located close to employee's home area. Current benefits package and pay rates are competitive for FT and PT employees as well as pay rates for PRN employees. Schedules allow flexibility for therapist to balance work with personal needs. Mentors are available to assist with areas such as feeding, AAC, and any other area a therapist may need input or assistance. All levels of management from company owner to division directors and clinical managers are accessible to all employees and are willing to listen to feedback. Up front, honest information is provided as we all work our way through this time of changing medicaid and private insurance funding.
Cons
Pediatric medicaid cuts have affected all HH agencies including ours, causing adjustments and/or cuts to some benefits, however T2K has managed to maintain a high level of employee satisfaction.
