Pros
Pros of home health in general: -Home health in general is preferable because you have a great work/life balance. You and your patient families work together to create your schedule, so you have the freedom to run errands, attend personal appointments, or travel without having to request days off. -I LOVE building relationships with the families I serve, watching my patients grow and achieve milestones, and educating caregivers rather than feeling disconnected to the family. Pros specific to Therapy 2000: -My clinical manager is a text or phone call away, and that was not always the case at another company I worked for. This is because Therapy 2000 has small management teams rather than one clinical manager for an entire region. -The charting system (Cub Hub) is so easy to use! I can chart the entire visit note on my phone in 3 minutes. -I have a company car and credit card to use on gas and car maintenance. I can even drive my car on my personal time, transport kids/spouse, and have 15,000 personal miles per year. -Therapy 2000 hosts a lot of CEUs that are available to the community, but are FREE for employees. -I work full-time, and receive great benefit options and PTO that rolls over each year.
Cons
Cons to home health in general: -Fluctuating pay because I get paid per visit rather than salary Cons specific to Therapy 2000: -Management likes for us to treat "afterschoolers" (visits after 3PM) at least a couple days a week.
