Pros
With so many Demand Gen companies struggling and doing multiple rounds of layoffs, it is refreshing working at a company that is rapidly growing. Love the remote - work from anywhere, policy. Truly global company with team members spread across the world. I really enjoy the autonomy to do my job from our CEO and Managing Director. I was hired to roll out a new product for Think ABM over 2 years ago. From Day 1 I was given complete trust and support to make decisions I believed to be in best interest of the business. With success in the product launch, and by establishing trust following through with what I said I would do, I have been able to continue growing within the organization, recently getting promoted. I believe there is a lot of room for growth for individuals that work hard, go above and beyond, follow through with what they say they will do, and show dedication to the business. Being a smaller company, especially when I first started, I have been able to interact with our customers and other internal business units more than I have at most other places I have worked. This increased exposure has broadened my overall business acumen and continues to create additional opportunities to grow and learn.
Cons
Because it is such a small company the impact of the contributors, especially leadership, is profound. There was one Sales Leader that was hired and wreaked absolute havoc for several months this past year. That was probably the most difficult time I had at the company (for a few of us), but silver lining was leadership removed the problem, things have improved significantly, and new sales leadership is wonderful. Because the company is focused on producing quality results and growing so fast, there have also been difficult decisions with performance based changes. Those are never fun but I do believe leadership is making decisions with best interest of our customers and to make sure our standards of quality are being met.
