SPRINT—don't run or walk—away from this abusive, tyrannical company - Anonymous employee Thinx Employee Review

Pros

Coworkers are great. Really smart people. They built everything with absolutely no help from management, or the CEO (who just hopped on when feminism became popular enough to merchandise). Coworkers have a lot of conviction and believe very strongly in the work they do, but are unfortunately complicit in standing by and allowing what's been going on at this company to continue for years.

Cons

When you start working here you immediately realize something is up. People hired will plead with you about why you didn't warn them, so here's your warning. This place is a dumpster fire and the CEO is a time bomb and a liability. The positive reviews on here were ordered by the CEO while she stood over employees shoulders, which is fairly obvious as three current employees "coincidentally" posted them on the same day. And be aware, they keep rolling in. Check the dates; it'll seem odd to you too. Run. You will be abused mentally, emotionally, and very literally physically. The only thing I can compare what I've seen at this company is a literal abusive relationship I was once in. The lies are neverending—illegal business takes place behind closed doors and management is too spineless to dethrone the demagogue of the commodification of feminism. It's all a lie, and you'll be asked to lie for the company and for the CEO, thereby becoming complicit in a tangled web of sexual, emotional, mental, and physical harassment. Employees are consistently crying (with reason). The CEO's Stalin-like paranoia isn't just unethical, it's damaging to employees and the company. Her bevahior literally warrants immediate removal (and often arrest) as a person in "power" and she's blissfully unaware of how many people know the things she's done, and how transparent her fake reviews of her company are. Six people have left within a single month if that's a credible enough warning sign for you

I know we can't change what you experienced. In our current organizational state, we have a clear no harassment policy. It includes specific reporting methods to allow a safe space to report illegal or harmful behaviors or activities. We want everyone to come to work and enjoy the fun space, team members, and cute dogs roaming the office. We don't want people to worry about safety. The leadership team, and team, in general, have changed a lot over the last nine months and we have a new CEO, Maria Molland Selby. Maria values transparency and a healthy work environment. If you have a moment, I copied two article links that give an update on how the company is doing: https://www.racked.com/2018/1/22/16905268/thinx-new-ceo https://www.shethinx.com/blogs/thinx-piece/5-questions-you-ve-been-asking-about-thinx-5-answers-directly-from-us Please let me know if I can answer any questions. You can email our HR team at people@shethinx.com. Reference Glassdoor and I will get back to you right away. Sincerely, Sharon Salmon, VP of People Ops.

Pros

I worked with some great people—remote work. Easy going atmosphere.

Cons

I left because I felt harassed by a coworker, and the manager downplayed my experience. They did a lot of DEI, but it did not trickle down, and it was because it's preached but not put into practice.
