Pros

Small but amazing team with brilliant ideas. Everyone has an impact here and it is visible in everyone's productivity, result and work ethic. Pay is very good for a game development company. Very flexible work hours as it is fully remote! PTO is more than reasonable for a game company. Great benefits. Management is very understanding and works with your time as closely as possible.

Cons

Since this is in the game industry, working overtime happens on weekends. Doesn't happen too often but can from time to time. Stability can be a bit unnerving sometimes with some projects' timelines unclear.

Pros

It's a remote only company. The people are great to work with and the hours are extremely flexible. They try to do the best for everyone involved.

Cons

Unfortunately, with the games market currently, they were not able to elevate anyone to full-time employee status. They are currently, where a bunch of companies are right now, are struggling financially and must focus on the company first.

Pros

The pay is great. You get to work on cool VR projects.

Cons

The upper management is usually lost and has no clue what they are doing or talking about (most are on their first project). This is frustrating especially when they are typically the product owners of your work. They also rarely listen. Surprise deadlines and deliverables come up way too often. Collaboration is all over the place, it feels like a free for all. Good people are let go or leave while new hires are thrown in without much guidance. There doesn't seem like a lot of room to grow/advance. There is an expectation that some people will be available 24/7 (they have their phone numbers!), and crunch is a possibility, even if they try to tell you it is not because there is always something on fire.
