Pros

If you actually put the work in, you’re trusted and backed properly Strong team with a lot of high billers, so you’re surrounded by people who know what they’re doing Good investment into tech and regular business travel Market is in a good place and the yields are genuinely strong vs most of the industry You can do very well here if you’re willing to graft Day-to-day perks are great - early finishes on Fridays, gym membership included, and you’re encouraged to use it (longer lunches if you want to train/play padel) Office is a big plus - modern, good location, music on, table tennis, darts, regular breakfasts, just a good atmosphere Incentives are solid - two holidays a year, done properly (not tacky like some places) Commission structure is competitive

Cons

It’s not for everyone - it’s a high-performance environment and that comes with pressure If you’re not self-motivated or willing to put the work in, you’ll struggle Some of the reviews on here don’t really reflect what it’s actually like (a lot seem to be from people who didn’t perform)

Pros

I work in the New York office and I have been with the business for a number of years, and seen the changes that have gone with it. Thor is a very strong agency with market leading expertise, particularly within the mission critical sector. The vibe in the office is one of collaboration, which is a very positive thing that I have not seen in my previous agency experiences. I also enjoy Thor's approach to their clients and customers which is one of partnership rather than transactional in nature. The US team has developed an excellent client portfolio and has grown in reputation in the Data Center market in particular which has allowed some amazing individual and team performances. There is a wealth of experience in the US Team, with some very senior individuals to draw knowledge from which has helped further my career. Most importantly, there are some very nice colleagues in the group that i thoroughly enjoy working with.

Cons

We are a small to medium sized team in the US. If you're looking to be part of a big business with hundreds of US employees, I suspect this isn't the right agency for you yet.

Pros

If you're looking to get yelled at regularly, work under zero flexibility, deal with unreasonable expectations, and operate in an environment built entirely on distrust from day one, congratulations, this is the company for you!

Cons

- Despite having fewer than 100 employees, you will still somehow be treated like employee #8,742 in a spreadsheet. Leadership shows little to no interest in employee wellbeing, development, or long-term success. Hoping for compliment on your good work? Cute. Compliments are usually delivered with a side of criticism, insult, or passive aggressive commentary. - Operationally, the company appears to be running on software last updated sometime around 2006. The CRM is weak, the recruitment tools are outdated, and the infrastructure to actually succeed in the role is basically nonexistent. - You'd assume the company is run by experienced professionals. In reality, many decisions feel like they were made by throwing darts at a whiteboard and seeing what sticks. Somehow leadership is extremely confident in their approach, but the results suggest otherwise. - Company trips deserves their own category of chaos. Employees are expected to stay in low budget hotels and share rooms with colleagues whether they are comfortable with it or not. Food? That's on you. But don't worry, leadership is very enthusiastic about alcohol and turning these trips into awkward unprofessional drinking sessions. - Commission payments can also be.. creative! The rules tend to change depending on the situation, often appearing to be invented in real time. - The interview process can be charming, but please don't assume you'll be treated differently once you join. You won't. - Yes, every company has bad reviews. But this many? At some point, you gotta stop blaming the employees. There are plenty of firms in this industry that operate professionally and treat their staff with basic respect. Join one of those!
