Pros
- good place to learn the industry - genuinely nice and helpful people (including some upper/senior management) - remote work
Cons
- minimal job security. I've seen valuable hardworking employees let go due to a deal gone wrong (that they had nothing to do with), in order to continue employing individuals who add little to no value, but have a good relationship w/ the decision makers. More likely to keep your job based on how well you're liked, as opposed to your merit - CFO will do anything to save a buck. This includes withholding dozens of employees' annual 401K contributions after company decided to sell the division of the company those employees worked under, treating them as "terminated". Truly despicable and shady business practice to stiff so many employees out of tens of thousands of dollars worth of 401K contributions. - very poor company-wide communication
