Cons

- micro management - no senior employees, only rookies - lack of vision - not much potential for growth

Pros

Talented people Decent pay Feature ownership

Cons

Often, HR’s opinions take priority over professional opinions by managers. I liked the heavy workload but can be a lot for some, a guy got hospitalised while working due to stress and the upper management forced him to resign.

Pros

Has maintained a positive profit through many years in pre-pubg market when a lot of companies went bankrupt. Variety of projects and talented people at different skill levels to reach or learn from. A decent young employees to senior employees ratio keeping things a nice balance of fun and serious.

Cons

Corporatisation with introduction of micromanagement tools unable to measure actual value added to company. Using workflows of a massive company in what’s supposed to be a creative studio marked the downfall of Threye. the gigantic political moves people keep trying to make against you is anxiety inducing and you want to skip office. Despite one of the top employees being non binary, the homophobia is present in the environment, where the CEO and other heads disregard them because of their orientation. Islamophobia was also pretty common with a bomb joke or a maksad joke almost every lunch. As the security rules kept increasing so did the unnecessary stress. I didn’t wanna join the army just make games don’t force those rules on me! And oh don’t tell me things like “every single one of you is being phone tapped”, fight for my rights to privacy with your contracter. This is very very important which they somehow forget to mention in the first HR call.
