Pros
- Global, can move countries if opportunity available - Plenty of choices for career development - Clear measurement of KPI - Flexible working hours - Depending on location, the team work and office are nice and friendly. Overall I don't feel office politics happening.
Cons
- Very chinese oriented, sometimes internal email is in full chinese - Many chinese staff are expected to work internationally but not very good in conversing in written/spoken english and lead to plenty of misunderstanding - IT system for reporting and other admin stuff are not user-friendly - Too much paper/admin work - Incorrect project calculation (example, Protocol writing was offered to sponsor as 10 hours, while it is actually 16 hours)
