Collaborative environment but limited programming language exposure - Software Engineer Tire Rack Employee Review

Good hours and pay and clear work every night

Physically demanding and strict, easy to get if co workers help.

One of the biggest pro I think I have for Tire Rack was when I was hired in they hired me as a remote employee, and that I also got to travel the country.

Pay is low for the position I was in with the education and certification I held. Work life balance wasn't there. No extra compensation for being on-call for this company. Senior level management has no clue what they are doing nor do they listen to those that do. They just kept hiring people which didn't really give you enough work to fill the day. They hired based on personality not technical abilities. All the new hire I saw in my department were morons. Most of the people on my direct team including my supervisor were good people and I enjoyed working with them but the department as a hole was terrible.
