Stock performance since spinning from Masco has been consistent and positive. Large company (8000+ employees). Nice new building with cafeteria and outdoor patio. Free coffee in cafeteria. Company has a high turnover. Party because of industry, partly because of benefits discussed below, so there are opportunities for those willing work to "put in their time."
Cons
Heathcare is expensive. 401k match is 25% up to 10% of eligible income per pay period. Two weeks PTO for most employees (goes up to a max of 4 weeks PTO once you've been with the company 10 years). No stock option program/employee stock participation program. (you can buy BLD stock in your 401k but no price incentive). Aging employee demographic- not the distinct lack of information on Glassdoor for an 8000+ employee company. Company is headquartered in Florida so salaries are depressed relative to elsewhere in the United States.
