Pros

None really. Small company that can’t get out of its own way.

Cons

Small, outdated, cluttered, cramped offices. Cumbersome oversight by management. Communication impediments become obvious very quickly. No sense of team. Selective members of management create soft pockets for themselves the employees are expected to serve. You will have multiple “report to” with direction coming from all sides. Might be OK for a somewhat convenient lay-over until you find a really good company with good management but not a company to go to build a career.

Pros

The office is a house so it's very casual. The pay is ok.

Cons

The office is a house that is all choppy and the floor-plan/desk set up is less than ideal. There is no privacy for confidential or sensitive phone conversations with clients or other employees in different offices, some of the other employees just scream across the room to each other which is disruptive when trying to concentrate. The owner and other upper managers are incredible micromanagers. If you work in the administrative departments be prepared to defend every decision you make, good or bad. I think I needed to explain my job role quarterly. No one says thank you. No one says good morning or good night. The culture is miserable. Management loves to publicly expose mistakes made by anyone in administration. The technical staff loves it because no one bothers them and their manager is an excellent person. Be prepared to face serious growing pains and for your job to change around a few times a year. Serious turnover. Perhaps it will change in a few years when they've sorted it all out.
