At first TracyLocke seemed like a great place to work. Big client names, a cool office space, but.... -Massive favoritism. If you're not one of the select few then it's almost like you're invisible. Recognition and praise is only given out to a handful, while the rest are expected to come in and work hard with a good attitude, but are never acknowledged in any way (either through compensation/promotion or even just a "you're doing great"). You will get stuck and not be able to grow at all here. -Upper management is catty and disrespectful. They gossip like school girls and gang up against people who are not a part of their clique. This is related to the favoritism mentioned above. The cliques are REAL here. Every office has its groups, but the fact that upper management is also included and plays into the cliques and the gossip makes it a HUGE problem. It's not fun and it makes for an incredibly toxic and draining work environment. -Lack of morale/company spirit. Because of the above favoritism, cliques, and gossip, it means that there is zero culture here. People show up, talk to who they feel comfortable talking to, and go home. No one wants to go to a happy hour, no one wants to eat lunch together, no one wants to communicate with anyone outside of their little bubble. Which in this industry is really tough. We work in a stressful field and you need to be able to go out with those people and see them as real people with a life outside of the office. That way, when some crazy client deadline pops up you're not about to rip that persons face off...because you know them a little more personally and you're more inclined to work together as a team. But the gossip and cliques means that there is no team and it's every man for himself. There is literal yelling that happens in meetings on a regular basis. It's a ticking time bomb and lower level people are on the receiving end a majority of the time. The saddest part is, no one at TracyLocke cares about any of this. The high ups make fun of these Glassdoor reviews and act like the people writing them are crazy. Look at how many negative reviews there are now. There's a reason for all these reviews and it's not because the former employees are crazy, it's because the current ones are in denial.
