Pros

Ingersoll Rand / Trane maintains a very entrepreneurial culture in the district offices. There is a significant level of authority and autonomy provided to front-line associates and geographically-specific leaders to meet the needs of the local market.

Cons

Culture of reporting on what's coming for two weeks of the month and reporting on what happened in the prior month for the other two weeks two weeks. Although Ingersoll Rand / Trane is proud of their pay-for-performance culture, it is more of an aspiration than a reality. Top performers are rarely treated differently than medium/low performers.
