Trane has had a tendency to chase the new shiny object. Their last 5 or 6 acquisitions have been wildly overpaid for - and they continue to chase the next big thing - Datacenters - paying for new companies when they are at a premium.
CEO's get bonuses, workers get laid off. We lost a lot of good folks recently.
Trane implemented a flexible work arrangement and I was able to retain strong staff members who needed the flexibility.. ie. working mothers, families.
They reverted those plans, gut their DEI initiatives, and the people are the ones to suffer - just to satisfy that large rent in Davidson.
