Pros
- Schedule flexibility - Transport claims - Medical and optical claims
Cons
One of the main reasons I left is due to the lack of appreciation and leadership. Under my previous lead, I was encouraged and given an opportunity to take up different responsibilities, and therefore am able to learn more. I am eternally grateful for the guidance I have experienced. However, a sudden shift in leadership at the end of 2024 has definitely swayed me away from wanting to stay. Imagine working hard all year just to have your efforts disregarded and judged based on a small period of time. Realistically speaking, one should never fully expect and depend on hard work just to get a promotion because it still depends on other factors. However, I think the bare minimum of acknowledgement and appreciation of an employee's hard work shall be prioritized. On top of that, a leader should always know how to bring the team forward and deal with conflicts and issues together but no, I feel that my team and myself is often threw under the bus and constantly disregarded for our efforts. Besides that, a leader who talks bad about your team or employees behind their back is no leader at all, which is just downright shameful. How these people got into the position of leadership just baffles me. Even if a company's salary is not as fruitful as others, there's still a good chance an employee might return for the culture. However, if the culture is toxic and crap, no amount of money will prompt their return.
