Pros

Good, relatively inexpensive insurance coverage. Mainly remote.

Cons

Prefers AI over actual humans to get work done. Consistent layoffs with next to no notice since the merger with Accolade, despite the constant emails about how well the company is doing. Management is an overall mess and self evaluations do not matter as they only look at metrics. No matter what they say, at the end of the day it’s still a call center.

Pros

Offers work from home in some areas

Cons

- Transcarent is unreliable and unstable and I fell for the CEO's emails, exclaiming "Our time is now!" and "We are positioned to make real change!" - Low pay for experienced industry professionals, refused to negotiate - Asks for employee input but can't handle receiving the information - Managers don't know how to run their departments which breeds confusion and miscommunication that ultimately gets put back on the employee - A PIP at Transcarent is heavy coaching and allows bad apples to keep contaminating the bunch - Going through layoffs like every 6 months. Despite being knowledgeable and a top performer, my position was eliminated without warning. I don't know the criteria for who was kept, but it seemed to favor tenure over talent - Their severance package was pathetic and embarrassing but they certainly patted themselves on the back for it. I almost feel sorry for HR for being forced to present it like it was generous
