Pros

Great team on the ward, most staff are lovely to work with.

Cons

Not enough staff recognition on the ward. Grievances swept under the carpet by management and HR. Patient safety comes second, taking patients money comes first. Lack of progression and training.

Sorry to learn that staff do not feel that grievances are dealt with. We have a formal grievance process which is adhered to however the outcome of that process is often confidential to the complainant. We also have a 'whistle blowers' policy available to all staff. Point noted about individual work emails. We are working on this but in the meantime we will look at more effective communication channels within the Hospitals as some staff clearly do not feel connected.

Pros

Colleagues, patients, chairs and front door to get out of when its home time

Cons

Long Hours, Underpaid, undervalued. Transform were taken over in 2015 in a pre-administration deal (bought for peanuts) by aurelius ( aurelius are an investment german company), who are only interested in bottom line figures. High staff turnover, resulting in inexperienced staff with no duty of care shown to staff or patients. Hospital group have also being purchased by Aurelius, again in a pre-administration deal (companies but - not debt can be left behind).

Given your length of service you will be appreciative of the company changes and the rationale for this. From last Summer we have a new CEO who is bringing positive changes to the organisation which includes changing how we function as an organisation. Most staff have embraced the changes but unfortunately, not all and a number have made a choice to leave the organisation.
