Pros
I was given a position at Trekk after having taken several years off from my career to raise my kids as a stay at home mom. They looked past the gap on my resume, and put their trust in me knowing that I would do what was needed to get my skills refreshed and back up to current tech trends. As an employee, I felt heard and cared for, and was given many opportunities to grow my skills and experience in the direction that I was seeking. Management expects you to bring your best but doesn't stand over your shoulder. They lead with compassion, and from the first moment you step into the office, you get the feeling that everyone truly cares about each other here, like a family, because they do :) The small size of the tech team allows for developers to really know each other, and who are very supportive of each other and eager to team up in troubleshooting or even just to take a minute to answer a question. Everyone was really a pleasure to work with, and I am grateful for having had the opportunity to work with Trekk.
Cons
Not much to say here. Even as I departed the company, they were kind and generous people and did everything they could to make that transition a smooth one for me without stress.
