Pros

Work life balance Benefits Good team dynamics

Cons

Low pay. No raises. Merge has been rough on management and many have dropped the ball when it comes to supporting staff. Covid burn out as well as merge burn out has affected staff so there is turnover.

Pros

Strong benefits and supportive leadership/peers. Management is open to feedback and willing to implement changes for employees. Unlimited PTO and stipends for food and internet are fantastic. Fully remote work from home. Company trips are excellent for morale, team building, and open feedback (should happen more often). Systems are simple to learn, and AI tools make calls and follow-ups much more efficient.

Cons

Base salary is far below industry standards — $40k in 2025 is unsustainable and feels out of touch. Mandatory weekend shifts are unfair; scheduling should rotate among agents since there are enough employees to balance the workload. Commission structure is flawed: either set a guaranteed base once floor goals are met, or pay out for every policy sold after hitting the target. Conversion metrics don’t make sense if employees are expected to filter out unqualified leads. Lead management system creates a cutthroat, hostile environment among agents. Direct numbers or a fairer system would encourage teamwork and improve overall performance.
