Pros

The people here are lovely. They make the day job so much more pleasant. If ever I need help with anything there is always someone willing to assist. Bonus is a nice touch and really achievable. Little touches throughout the year like lunches, ice creams, gift vouchers, cash bonuses always well received

Cons

IT is lacking but management are investigating lots to improve it. The facilities in some offices need modernisation but it is in hand

Pros

The only good thing about working here is the fact they do prosecco Fridays.

Cons

One of the worst places to work and would not advise anyone to accept a job here. It’s toxic and the management and HR quite frankly don’t care if you are support staff. You will get the bear minimum of support & help, but with a ticking clock so be prepared for this to last no longer then 2 weeks. Also if you are fresh out of Uni with a law degree and they promise you a promotion within a certain time, this is complete false information and you will be used as a Secretary until you decide to leave. Whilst being a Secretary, you are pretty much a doormat and are typing for 7 hours straight as the fee earners here do not type a single one of their emails to the point where they will not send “received, thank you” as they are too good to type an email and instead will sit around talking and talking throughout the whole day, whilst claiming they are so busy. Also do not expect to get any credit from the fee earners you work for as they do not care and will not change their unrealistic style of working, even if you have expressed your close to a mental breakdown. If you are happy with being a robot with zero interaction from anyone, then by all means get a job here, but be prepared to be miserable on a low pay. Although Trethowans may be good for client service, but in terms of working here, it’s a horrible and toxic environment with nasty middle aged people who won’t give you the time of day unless your face fits.
